When Monday morning rolled around, I could hardly wait. I was hitting the road to see my best uni friend in Devon before we all head our separate ways for the year.
I turned the music up load, and before I knew it, I had arrived.
As the sun was till out, we decided to head down to the seafront and make the most of it, as we weren't sure how long it would stick around. We wondered through the narrow streets, breathing in the sea air, browsing the independent shops and the seaside wares they had to offer.
We chatted until it got too cold to bare, and looked for some where to grab some food. Pea Green Boat fit the bill nicely, and we tucked into traditional fish and chips with a sea view.
On the way back to the car, we could't help but notice the Doughnut Deli, and satisfied our sweet tooth with freshly made doughnuts and waffles, covered in chocolate.
The perfect seaside afternoon.
