London.

Last weekend I visited an old friend in London. Since leaving school she's moved house and we've both gone off to university so i only see her 2 or 3 times a year, but when we manage to get together you can guarantee there will be lots of chatting and even more food...

We started off at Selfridges, wanting to see the 'No Noise' exhibit having heard so much about it. To be honest, I was a little underwhelmed. It ended up just being a small space at the back of the first floor After seeing that their window displays were dedicated to the exhibition, I expected more.

Now on to the good stuff.....the food! We headed to The Breakfast Club in Soho to try out their, now famous, pancakes and I have to say THIS didn't disappoint.

I had a Caramel Latte, and my friend had the Hot Chocolate which she said was amazing!

A scrumptious pile of potatoes, bacon, sausages, pancakes and the best poached eggs I've ever had!

Pancakes with piles of bacon and maple syrup and a side of French Toast.

The food was amazing and atmosphere was equally as good. I would recommend this place to anyone and it's well worth the wait!

We then headed east, to Spitalfields Market (ever the tourist) where we found the most amazing cupcake stall and we couldn't help sampling some!

We then headed to Covent Garden, and Primrose Bakery because..how could you not?

Sadly it was then time for me to go home..until next time, eh?

How did you guys spend your weekend? Do you have any other bakery recommendations for me?

Pin It Now!
